Project overview

Linc Cymru Housing Association (part of the Pobl Group) is bringing forward plans for the development of this underustilised site. The site location is included in the Planning Application Drawings tab below.

Linc Cymru Housing Association (part of the Pobl Group) are intending to apply for full planning permission to regenerate the brownfield site for specialist residential accommodation for older persons.

The proposed development will include the following components:

  • The provision of 25 extra care apartments and 15 residential care units located within a three-storey building¬†including associated lounge and dining rooms, day room, hair salon, buggy store, sensory rooms, guest bedroom and staff offices and facilities;
  • The development of 8 Later living bungalows;
  • Improved pedestrian and vehicular access points;
  • Provision of 34 car parking spaces (including one ambulance bay) and cycle parking;
  • High quality landscaping scheme integrated across the development;
  • Biodiversity enhancements provided throughout the site including sustainable urban drainage features.
